Off The Rails is an award winning restaurant located on the Isle of Wight.

Project One:

The project consisted of creating an animated advertisement that would be shown on the ferries from Lymington to Yarmouth and Fishbourne to Ryde on the Isle of Wight in collaboration with graphic designer Shaun Cuff (www.shauncuff.co.uk). 

The client wanted the advertisement to sell the location as a destination, to do this I focused Off the Rails main selling points…

• Unique food and drink options

• The beautiful location

• The restaurant being dog-friendly

For the second project the client required a series of short animated videos that would be posted to social media to promote the new Summer menu items. The client wanted the advertisements to stand out from the usual Instagram reels of chefs cooking, and instead make them short, snappy and fun to keep audiences watching.

This resulted in a series of short videos animated in a collage style. When it came to designing the adverts I wanted to tie each dish to the location that inspired it, focusing on quirky content to grab the audiences attention. Below you can find a selection of these reels.
